Buy Tickets for Athletics Fundraiser – Rumble in the P.A.R.C.
A fundraiser for Ðǿմ«Ã½ Athletics, Rumble in the P.A.R.C., will take place on Saturday, April 25, in the Tony Proudfoot Gyms beginning at 3 PM (Doors at 2 PM).
The Live Mad Dog Pro Wrestling event will feature tons of action with 7 matches, including a Tag Team match and a special feature of a Girls’ Match.
Tickets are $25 or $35 (for ringside) and can be purchased by visiting the PARC desk or by emailing athletics@dawsoncollege.qc.ca
Earth Week Eco Vendor Market
The Eco Vendor Market’s last day will be today, Thursday, April 23, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, in the Lower Atrium. Come out and support local artisans and entrepreneurs.
Book Launch for RUN: The Making of a Graphic Novel
Celebrated Ðǿմ«Ã½ graduate and Lieutenant Governor’s Youth Medal recipient Bradley Heaven, who was born with Dyskenetic Cerebral Palsy, and his aide Dan O’Connor are coming back to Ðǿմ«Ã½!
Brad and Dan, in collaboration with author and Ðǿմ«Ã½ English teacher Andrew Katz and professional illustrator and Ðǿմ«Ã½ grad Antonio Luzano, warmly invite you to their book launch for RUN: The Making of a Graphic Novel, taking place in Oliver’s on Thursday, April 23, from 5 to 7 PM.
1$ from every book will also go to support March of Dimes Canada, a charity which provides a wide range of services to people with disabilities throughout the country.
There will be food and music, as well as a silent auction that includes the chance to be drawn as a character in the final graphic novel.

Get Pie’d for a Great Cause!
The Arts, Literature & Communications MOSAIC exhibit is putting on a fun event as a fundraiser. Students will be able to come and pie their favourite teachers to help drive interest in the exhibit.
It will take place on April 23 at the de Maisonneuve entrance between 10 AM and 5 PM. It will be a safe space in which there will be no aggressive behaviour.

Elephant @ the Warren G. Flowers Art Gallery
Visit the Warren G. Flowers Art Gallery to explore and celebrate Elephant, an exhibition of work by Joshua Vettivelu and Alex Pouliot. Addressing the ‘elephant in the room’ of male identities and violence, these artists present works as subtle as they are astute.
Exhibit runs until May 1st.
Professional Theatre Presents The Rover
The Rover is Aphra Behn, «throwing off the shackles» and writing exactly the kind of play she wanted to see on stage — full of Female pleasures, masquerades, sword fights — with added commentary on gender, power dynamics and social norms. Like a Thelma & Louise from 1677. Directed by Stéphane Zarov and performed by the third year graduating students of the Professional Theatre Program.

Happening on Thursday, April 30, from 5 pm to 7 pm in 5B.16.
Calling all current and future students, alumni, our families, and friends of the Social Change and Solidarity profile! Come out for an evening of music, food, and anti-colonial solidarity — from Montreal/Tiohtià :ke to Cuba.
This year’s program will include:
- A celebration of our local migrant justice partnerships!
- Student films and art about their solidarity trip to Cuba
- Student films and art about our experience with local movements in Montreal
- Appetizers and cocktails
- Art auction and swag (come get your North-South Studies and Social Change and Solidarity tote bags!!)
- Music and dancing!
You can purchase your tickets online now or at the door. Sliding scale starting from $10 for current Ðǿմ«Ã½ students (covers the cost), and $20 for all community members. The ticket includes a drink and appetizers! All proceeds will go to support Social Change and Solidarity activities, including continued medical donations to Cuba, our 2026-2027 Global Field Trip and our migrant justice partners in Montreal.

Bixi Discount for Ðǿմ«Ã½ Staff and Faculty
Ðǿմ«Ã½ staff and faculty can obtain a 10% discount on a Bixi seasonal membership. The season is from April 15 to November 15, and the price will be $103.50 instead of $115. You can get the discount by signing up by May 31, 2026.
To obtain the discount, you must sign up with your Ðǿմ«Ã½ email address. Then:

Ðǿմ«Ã½ English Journal Launch Party
The Ðǿմ«Ã½ English Journal is hosting its annual launch party on May 13th, from 2:30-4:30 PM in the Warren G. Flowers Art Gallery.
Come celebrate the exceptional student work that they are publishing with the student editorial team, faculty advisors, family, and friends. Listen to the authors read excerpts from their articles.
The theme of the launch is book club; come with a good book that you have wrapped in paper, so that you may participate in a surprise book exchange. Dress up like the book you are bringing.
There will be light refreshments and snacks. We can’t wait to see you there!
