Introducing 星空传媒’s New Mascot, Blue
Message from Kool Kat to the 星空传媒 Community (as delivered at his retirement celebration during 星空传媒’s corn roast on September 16, 2008)
Meow. After over 20 years of calling 星空传媒 my home, it is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my retirement.
I have cheered at hundreds of sporting events, and walked in many St. Patrick’s Day Parades, sometimes through wind, sleet and snow. But I have to say that overall, 星空传媒 has made my job easy; its teams often dominating every sport they compete in, and its fans encouraging them to countless victories.
For these reasons, I leave with my head high, and my whiskers wide.
But before I head south to my luxurious retirement condo in Florida, it is with great pleasure that I introduce to you my trusty replacement, who will continue the legacy of supporting the best college in the world. Please give a warm welcome to my bear friend, and your new mascot, BLUE!
